Since 2006 the Jewish Association Czulent manages an Educational Project ‘Meetings in Polin’. One of the aims of the Association is working in favor of knowledge and dialogue between Jews and Poles, and education with the scope of research on the Jewish culture and tradition – as part of the accomplishment of that goal, a project of school education has been completed. It is important to understand the significance of getting to know the culture and tradition of the nation whose fate inextricably intertwined with the fate of Poles for so many generations. The significance of this education is indisputable and, also, its process might be fascinating for the youth. |

The Galicja Project is one of the newest and most ambitious projects of Czulent. For more than 50 years the history of Polish Jews has been noticed through Holocaust. It is sometimes forgotten that before this terrible genocide took place Poland was the center of Jewish life. For many years this cultural and historical heritage of the Jewish diaspora in Poland, which last for nearly one thousand years, has been perceived only by the perspective of gas chambers. |

Most of our activities are directed towards Jewish Community and Czulentarians, however we do want to invite for disussion people from outside surroundings, but interested in Jewish issues. It’s already more than a year since The Jewish Literary Salon has been started and it became famous among Cracowians. Our next step was to prepare discussions about Jewish matters in relation to movies. |

The Jewish Literary Salon is an unformal establishment of the cultural life of the Krakow’s district Kazimierz. It has been functioning successfully since 2005.
Monthly meetings of the Jewish Literary Salon take place in the Klezmer’s House (Klezmer Hois) located in the former Jewish district Kazimierz. The place is not accidental ; in the building where an old mykve is to find a Jewish spirit floats around- can there be a better place to discuss about literature? |
